Hume, the last planet in our solar system
Hume was discovered in 2003 by the astronomical Jose-Luiz Ortiz of the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia, and wore until now, EL61 name. The planet was identified in the Kuiper Belt, a conglomerate of celestial bodies found at a greater distance from the Sun than Neptune, the farthest planet in our solar system.
According to astronomers at Yale University, Hume was formed after a strong collision that occurred billions of years ago, the same collision that gave rise to its natural satellites, Hi'iaka and Namaka (name inspired by the same goddess daughters Hawaiian) .
Appointment to the planet has raised controversy among scientists as previous Pluto, who was demoted from planet status shortly after.
